Al Rayyan Stadium (FIFA 2022 STADIUM)
We are glad that we were a part of Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium (Al Rayyan Stadium) rebuilt for the 2022 FIFA World Cup at Qatar. The 40,000-seater air-cooled open stadium with a total load of 12,800 TR has a GSAS (Global Sustainability) rating of 4. Its distinctive facade, created using a cutting -edge parametric design, contributes significantly to its cooling. The unique patterns in the façade represent different aspects of Qatan culture kno wn as Naquish patterns that character-ise different aspects of the country, the importance of family, the beauty of the desert, the native flora and fauna and local and intemational trade. The fifth shape, a shield brings together the strength and unity of the city of Al Rayyan.
SIC SCOPE
Building Information Modeling (BIM) -Development of LOD 500 BIM Model from LOD 200 IF model for Complete GRC Facade & Dunes including coordination of fixing with the Steel work Contractor. SIC deployed a BIM team on-site to coordinate closely with the client’s team.
