Shop Drawings

At Spectrum, we provide As-Built models as a final, accurate representation of the completed project. These models reflect all field changes and serve as digital twins of the finished building. Our modeling team continually updates the project model to incorporate redline markups, EIs (Engineers Instructions), and RFIs (Request for Information). We supply these up-to-date models to owners and general contractors for their records, marked in red to highlight field alterations. Not only do our As-Built models offer a visual representation of the building, but they also provide a virtual tour and serve as a comprehensive record for future renovations or improvements.

Shop Drawings

Shop Drawings, integral to construction planning, are accurately drafted from well-coordinated BIM (Building Information Modeling) models at SIC. Leveraging conceptual designs and specifications, our 2D shop drawings offer invaluable insights that facilitate actual layouts and error-free installations. The detailed information contained in our drawings includes Bottom and Top of Pipe/Duct, Slope, Direction of Flow, Offset Locations, and critical dimensions from the nearest walls or columns, among other essential details like SECTIONS, ELEVATIONS, 3D VIEWS, and Penetration drawings.

Our shop drawings also incorporate details on Equipment Pad layouts, Hangers and Sleeves, Block-out locations, and Trimble Field Points, providing a comprehensive view for every stakeholder involved in the project. These drawings are based on comprehensive data from Product Data Submittals, Construction Documents, and Specification sheets, allowing for transparent communication between all project parties.
